Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
RCIA
The RCIA
is a process of faith formation culminating in the celebration of the Sacraments
of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation
& Eucharist. These Sacraments are usually celebrated after Easter Vigil. The RCIA is designed for:
Un-baptized adults, baptized Christians interested in joining the Catholic
Church, and baptized Catholics preparing for Confirmation and/or
Eucharist.
Christian Initiation of Children is an adaptation of
the RCIA offered to families who wish to prepare their children for reception of
the Initiation Sacrament.
