Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist will be a joint effort between parents and catechists, including written material and prayer opportunities.  See the calendar for details.  In addition to preparation in religious education classes and through the St. Mary’s School, candidates use a book to prepare at home with the help of parents and other family members for each of the sacraments.  Preparation is in grade 2; however, older children can be part of the preparation program using age-appropriate materials.
